Japanese artist Hideaki Shibata is joining FRTR. He and Kazuya Matsunaga came together in 2003 as Yodogawa Technique to create works from the rubbish and miscellaneous objects found along Osaka Yodogawa River. “Yodogawa”, or Yodo River, is the primary river in Osaka. With its flourishing economy and high population density, the area around Yodo River is prone to a lot of littering. This environmental pollution was what inspired Yodogawa Technique to group all the litter into an artistic masterpiece. Working with discarded consumer goods and driftwood, the crafty duo made sculptural pieces that are like physical collages and that initially do not even appear as if they are made from garbage. Unfortunately artist Kazuya Matsunaga will not join us because of his work commitment. From August 10 th to 21 st the artist will work with FRTR’s commissioned artists in the Open Atelier in Adly Street. More information about the artist http://yukari-art.jp/en/yodogawa_technique_en |

There are a lot of yoga techniques that you can use to enhance your health. I know that yoga is not that practical, but believe me, it is better than not doing anything. If you are not even trying to exercise, then what will happen to your body? Of course, it is difficult to make time for exercise these days, but believe me, it is better than just sleeping all day. Exercise is the best way to maintain your body.
