We are very excited to have the American artist Eto Otitigbe joining FRTR. Eto has a long career in public art and his profile mixes a solid technical background (BS and MS Engineering) with an original artistic practice (MFA Creative Practice).

He already started holding a virtual Skype workshop with the Egyptian artists of the selected proposals and these virtual studio visits will continue through July.
Throughout 2 sessions, Otitigbe will tutor the first phase of the construction of the artworks discussing technical challenges.

During the first meeting each artist will provide an introduction to their project and discuss any technical challenges. The artist will perfect eventual row or unpolished ideas, offering feedback as needed. The purpose is to provide practical guidance and work through any issue related to the fabrication.

The second meeting, scheduled approximately 2 – 4 weeks after the first meeting will be used to assess progress and an additional technical design review.

If you want to discover more about the artist please visit his website www.etootitigbe.com
