Great depression
The Arab world currently experiences a great depression similar to the 1930s great depression. It suffers instability, extensive civil wars, mass migration, economic and demographic decline of the Arab League. As of summer 2014, the Arab Winter has produced about quarter a million deaths and millions of refugees. In addition to questions of identity in a fast-paced world. In this project I would work on making a big amount of large scale paper dolls that portray the idea. They would be gloomy and dull looking characters. The characters would stand in a row to resemble the rows of people seen in the 1930’s great depression waiting for jobs or any type of aid. The project would target all types of audiences as to portray the current state of the Egyptian citizen.
